Middle School (Ages 10-13)

Middle School is an extremely important time for a young athlete's physical development. Because of this, having experienced and qualified coaching in the areas of long-term athletic development when an athlete is introduced to strength training, can be crucial to an athlete's health and overall development. A certified and experienced strength and conditioning coach can provide the expert guidance needed for safe and effective training. Development Philosophy

At Peak303 we believe very strongly in long-term athletic development and health of all the athletes we work with. For that reason, we incorporate three essential development pillars in all the programs we provide. While there are many ways to train athletes for the demands of their specific sports, there are three main development pillars that we believe are essential to the success and health of all athletes. 3F's - FOUNDATIONAL STRENGTH, FUNCTIONAL SPEED & POWER, FUNDAMENTAL RECOVERY.

FOUNDATIONAL STRENGTH is essential to an athlete's overall health and performance for any individual or team sport and is the primary development pillar of which all other's are built off of. Developing foundational strength allows for better control of muscles, greater work capacity and ability to generate higher forces and power. Not only can foundational strength development enhance skills but will also create the resiliency needed to repeat those skills over a longer period of time.

FUNCTIONAL SPEED & POWER is a crucial development pillar for high performance in most team sports like football, basketball, baseball/softball and many individual sports like track & field. While elite speed and power is not necessary for success in every sport and position, developing functional speed and power is. Efficient running mechanics, acceleration/deceleration techniques and power developing exercises, can increase the speed and power athletes need for most sports.

FUNDAMENTAL RECOVERY is an essential development component to the success of any training program and health of all athletes. Without proper recovery, adaptation through training is limited and therefore so will high performance outcomes. By utilizing myofascial release and trigger point techniques, we can enhance the body's response time and recovery from workouts, practices and games.

Individual Training

For those who prefer 1-on-1 instruction and a program designed based on your individuals needs and development goals. You can choose the program length and frequency that fits your needs.

Middle School PEAK Development Program

The Middle School PDP is for middle school athlete's looking to join a semi-private, small group training program. Learn proper training techniques and exercise progressions while developing the foundational strength, functional speed and fundamental recovery to elevate your game and help keep you healthy. 

Sessions include:

  • Linear & lateral speed warm-up and acceleration drills

  • Foundational strength development beginners program

  • Recovery routines

Team & Group Training 

Team & group training is available to sport teams or small groups who are looking for experienced professional strength & conditioning instruction to assist you in achieving team and individual development goals. This training program is designed for athletes to train alongside their teammates in a competitive and dynamic setting. Teams have their own dedicated days and times and done on-site at your school or facility weight room. Programs can be designed to accommodate the sport, season and goals that best fits your team.
